1 Day Gorilla Trekking Itinerary
The 1 day gorilla tracking Rwanda safari is an early morning departure safari with about 3 hours’ drive from Kigali city to Volcanoes National Park in Musanza. The park is approximately 100km from Kigali City and therefore just 3 hours away from the airport. With an estimated 900 gorillas roaming the Virunga massif of Uganda, Congo and Rwanda, in the mountains of Muhavura, Mgahinga and Sabinyo. This specie of gorilla was first discovered and described by Germany explorer captain Robert von Beringe in 1902.
